Bryan Carisone, a heating and air-conditioning contractor in Raritan, N.J., “absolutely loves” his new GMC Denali XL, an extra-large sport utility vehicle with televisions built into the leather seats. But in June, one week after he bought it, he pulled into a station on a near-empty tank and watched the total climb higher and higher — to $109.Fate has deemed you too stupid to have money. If you weren't out buying expensive gas to fill your giant 10 mile a gallon vehicle, you would be trading that money for magic beans or just flushing it down the toilet because you like it when the color green spins. You are getting what you deserve. You willingly bought the privilege of paying for $100 fill ups. Take it like an adult.
“It just about killed me,” Mr. Carisone said.

Whither the Hummer club
A request: If you look at the situation in the Middle East, rising demands for oil, tightened supply lines, and rampant oil speculation all driving gas prices up and you still buy a SUV, please don't whine about your stupidity to the New York Times.
