I'm sure this won't result in some sort of declaration of jihad

British satirist Chris Morris, whose work you really should familiarize yourself with, has decided to write and direct a comedy based on an idea he had: wouldn't it be funny to do a slapstick comedy of errors about four dimwitted Islamic jihadists? I think it would be and the first trailer seems to bear that out.

Morris is famous for his highly controversial satire, pranks on public officials and the newsmedia, and some of the best British comedies around. He spent a lot of time working with Armando Iannucci who released the great In the Loop last year. If you're interested you should check out the Daily Show precursors On The Hour and The Day Today, I'm Alan Partridge with Steve Coogan, Blue Jam, and the great Brass Eye. You know, before he's exploded for this film.
