Big Tire Gauge

Filling tires with air or letting the American dream seep out of it's rubbery container?

Sure McCain whored himself out successfully for those precious precious petro-dollars. The man can't live on sugar-mommas alone. But something more insidious has cropped up. Barack Obama, job hating scourge/celebrity/Muslim candidate for President, is grifting for cash from Big Tire Gauge.
On June 16, 2008, John Zimmerman, chief financial officer of Tomkins, gave nearly $7,000 in campaign contributions to Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama, according to the Center for Responsive Politics. Lo and behold, nary two months later Obama's in Springfield, Missouri, suggesting drivers inflate their tires to save gas (and, by the way, curb CO2 emissions). Coincidence? We think not. Does it come as any surprise that Tomkins owns the Syracuse Gauge Company, which bills itself as manufacturing the "largest selection and variety of tools in the United States for filling tires [and] checking tire pressure"?
Cue dramatic music. If Obama is able to lure 285 more like minded Gauge-o-fascists to donate at that level, he'll be able to match all the money McCain got in one week for pricing his principles at low low rates. Then where will we be? Riding around in properly pressurized tires getting more mileage and fuel economy gains than can be drilled off shore? Bah, I'd rather die. Flat tires are an American way of life. Frankly these tire-gaugers need to understand that.
