The Gray House?

Shit, yeah.

On Meet the Press this morning, our tar-lunged President-Elect was asked to clarify his smoker/non-smoker status. While he admitted that he had "fallen off the wagon" a few times, Obama stated unequivocally that he will not be smoking in the White House, which was officially declared smoke-free by No-Fun Squad Clinton during her time as first lady.

Editor's Note: Insert stale, cheap, Ann Coulter-ish cigar-related joke [here].

Personally I'm a little disappointed by this development. No matter your stance on smoking, you have to recognize the humor in the Leader of the Free World ducking into the Rose Garden for a quick puff before sitting down with Nicolas Sarkozy or, as he was often seen doing on the campaign trail, bumming smokes from junior staffers. Shame.

Still, does anyone really believe that Rahm Emmanuel's suits aren't now outfitting with air-tight emergency Marlboro storage pockets?
