The design paths not taken

Sol Sender, who led a design team for the ubiquitous Obama 08 sunrise logo and font scheme, was recently interviewed about the design project and offered up some of the rejected designs for the campaign. Honestly, would you have voted for a man trying to turn a zero and eight into an O and a B, let alone a guy using word bubbles as a logo? I think not, McCain/Palin and their militaristic star all the way!
