Palin's depression free bubble

To Avoid Being 'Depressed,' Palin Skimps on Campaign News
No wonder GOP vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin harbors such hostility toward the mainstream media: her staff imposes limits on her access to it.
...

"At those times on the campaign trail when sometimes it's easy to get a little bit discouraged, when, you know, when you happen to turn on the news when your campaign staffers will let you turn on the news," she said, prompting laughter from the group. "Usually they're like 'Oh my gosh, don't watch. You're going to, you know, you're going to get depressed.'"
I guess we can just add campaign coverage to the list of things she skimps on. What's the list at now? Science, basic human decency, foreign policy, energy policy, tact, debating, domestic policy....you know what, let's just say all non-God based forms of learning. It's heeded her well, lo these many weeks. She probably would have put a gun in her mouth if she saw her own interviews coupled with polling. But now the Lord has woken his ass up and started drunk dialing likely voters.
Giving credit to a higher power for the day's poll ratings, the Alaska governor told the roughly 500-person audience that things might be changing. "We even saw today, thank the Lord," she said, looking upwards and raising her fist, "We saw some movement."
This is why people need to stop believing in God. Belief only gives him strength, and with that strength he uses it to move Republicans minuscule amounts in a cherry picked poll. His power is mighty, look on his work and despair, Gallup. Palin also mentioned that she was glad to be in North Carolina because it was one of the "pro-America" parts of the country. Judging by God's poll numbers, I live in one of the un-American parts of the country. 12-15 points worth of un-American-ness depending on the Lord's survey company.

So either rescind to the shadows in shame or start deriding her harder, because the loathing just isn't getting through. God is using Rasmussen or Gallup, maybe SurveyUSA and a de-activated channel clicker to shield Palin from horrid reality. How can Obama be expected to soldier on?
