This pretty much explains it all

What with the Copenhagen climate conspiracy conference going on Al Gore is back in the news again, doing interviews, making speeches, and doing whatever he can to increase the millions of dollars he secretly earns from promoting doing something about all that climate change.

In a post describing how Gore is now taking a harsher, no-nonsense approach to climate change denialists, the Washington Monthly's Steve Benen uses a sentence to segue into a quote from a second Gore interview that perfectly sums up the state of modern politics, our modern media, the way experts and activists are treated in the media, and the way the problem of climate change and science in general is addressed by our political and media elite. Yup, all of 'em.
This morning, Gore appeared on MSNBC, where Andrea Mitchell read from Sarah Palin's Facebook page to ask the former vice president questions about climate change.
*dusts hands off and walks away* Yep, that about sums it all up. Enjoy running the world, China. I hope you learned from our mistakes.
