Quote of the day

Rush Limbaugh on not knowing shit he allegedly reveres:
We believe that the preamble to the Constitution contains an inarguable truth that we are all endowed by our creator with certain inalienable rights, among them life. [Applause] Liberty, Freedom. [Applause] And the pursuit of happiness. [Applause] Those of you watching at home may wonder why this is being applauded. We conservatives think all three are under assault. [Applause] Thank you. Thank you.
Of course the Constitution doesn't say that, the Declaration of Independence does. Furthermore there is no reference to 'freedom' in the 'inalienable rights' section and Rush said he listed three things after he clearly listed four. Then there's the whole thing about him spending the last eight years of his existence wholeheartedly defending torture, illegal wiretapping, illegal spying, and a whole host of other things that most decent people would call gross assaults on the law and the Constitution.

But other than that, he was bang on.
